What is EdgeFlow?

EdgeFlow provides access to automated trading software and research information — a systematic portfolio that executes on your own MetaTrader 5 account. It is not a managed fund, a managed account, or any kind of pooled investment; EdgeFlow never holds or controls member funds.

Is this a signal service?

No. EdgeFlow strategies execute predefined rules automatically in your own MT5 environment. You are not receiving buy/sell instructions to act on manually — you're running the software EdgeFlow researched and validated, on your own account.

Are these live results?

Accepted Answer

No. The 29% CAGR, 5.21% max floating-equity drawdown and every other figure published on this site describe a historical simulated backtest, not audited live performance. Live results, once there's enough evidence to publish, will appear separately — identified by account, observation period and data source — and will never be blended with backtest figures.

Is EdgeFlow available in Australia?

EdgeFlow memberships are not available to Australian residents or persons located in Australia. EdgeFlow is not accepting Australian customers at this time. This applies regardless of citizenship, sophistication, personal relationship or account size, and there are no case-by-case exceptions.

What does 5.21% drawdown mean?

5.21% is the maximum relative floating-equity drawdown in the historical backtest — it includes unrealised losses on positions that were still open, so it's the most complete measure of what the account experienced. It describes what happened in the test, not a limit on what can happen in the future.

Why is closed-balance drawdown lower?

Accepted Answer

EdgeFlow's secondary drawdown figure, 4.64%, excludes unrealised losses on positions that were still open when measured — it only counts realised profit and loss. That's the entire reason it reads lower than the 5.21% floating-equity figure; it is not evidence of lower risk on its own.

What returns can I expect?

No specific return can be expected or promised. The 29% CAGR is what the final portfolio produced in its historical backtest over 1 Apr 2022 – 15 Jun 2026 — a simulated result, not a forecast. Future markets, execution conditions and your own configuration will all affect actual outcomes.

Can I lose money?

Yes. Every trading strategy experiences losing trades and drawdowns, and losses — including future drawdown — can exceed anything shown in the historical backtest. Only trade capital you can afford to lose.

What account size do I need?

A technical minimum will be published once broker-volume testing confirms it can accurately reproduce the intended portfolio allocation. This is a technical constraint, not suitability advice — it doesn't tell you whether a given account size is right for your circumstances.

Can I change strategy settings?

Accepted Answer

Protected strategy parameters stay fixed — changing them would mean running a portfolio EdgeFlow never researched. The one setting members control is the portfolio risk multiplier, within permitted limits.

Can I use a prop firm?

Only if that firm has confirmed in writing that the relevant EdgeFlow strategy behaviour is permitted under its rules. EdgeFlow does not claim general prop-firm compatibility — rules vary by firm, and confirming compatibility is the member's responsibility.

What is EdgeFlow Private?

Accepted Answer

A selective, higher-touch membership for serious traders — application only, not an automatic purchase. It includes closer communication and structured onboarding, never portfolio management or personalised investment advice.

Who can apply for Private?

Accepted Answer

Serious, experienced non-Australian traders and market participants who may be deploying meaningful risk capital. Applications are reviewed individually, and submitting one does not guarantee acceptance.

Monthly vs lifetime?

Accepted Answer

Monthly membership provides your portfolio's access, updates and support only while the subscription stays active — cancel any time and access continues until the paid period ends, then deactivates. Lifetime membership is a one-time purchase: a permanent licence to the purchased portfolio version and its included updates, bound to your approved account(s) and subject to the licence terms published at purchase.

How is licensing handled?

Each licence is intended to bind to the member's entitlement and approved trading account(s), with periodic validation and a limited cached grace period for brief connectivity gaps. Exact behaviour will be confirmed once the production licensing system is implemented, before it governs any purchase.
